This chain is proudly made in the USA by Columbus McKinnon, a trusted name in load securement.
Manufactured from high-strength carbon steel, this chain is heat-treated and proof-tested to ensure consistent performance. A yellow zinc chromate finish provides corrosion protection, meets ASTM B633 Type II standards, and makes the chain easy to identify as Grade 70.
The forged carbon steel clevis hooks feature a non-cradle design that allows them to pass through flatbed trailer rub rails for fast, secure connections. A shallow throat makes it easy to attach chain, while the cotter pin makes replacing damaged hooks quick and simple.
Note: Grade 70 chain is not approved for overhead lifting.
All tie down chain is DOT compliant and meets or exceeds FMCSA CFR49 Section 393.104 and NACM Welded Steel Chain Specifications. Both the hooks and links are embossed with size and grade markings, making identification easy and inspections stress-free.
