Domestic 3/8″ 6×19 Bright Wire Rope – EIPS IWRC

This USA-made 3/8″ bright wire rope combines Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS) strength with a durable 6×26 strand construction and an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC). Designed for lifting, winching, hoisting, and structural rigging applications, it offers an excellent balance of abrasion resistance, flexibility, and load-bearing performance for demanding industrial environments.

Colored strands may appear in some domestic wire ropes for manufacturer ID or visibility purposes; these color variations do not affect assembly break strength.

Industrial Wire Rope for Lifting, Rigging & Winch Applications

The 6×19 class construction is widely used for general-purpose wire rope applications because it provides greater abrasion resistance than a 6×37 rope while maintaining the flexibility needed for everyday rigging and lifting operations. The bright steel finish is treated with a petroleum-based lubricant that helps reduce internal friction and provides basic moisture protection. Manufactured to meet RR-W-410 and ASTM A1023 specifications, this rope delivers reliable performance in tough working conditions.

6×19 Wire Rope Configuration

Our wire rope is made using EIPS-grade cable. EIPS (Extra Improved Plow Steel) refers to the strength of the wire rope. Its tensile strength is approximately 10% greater than IPS-grade wire rope, resulting in improved break strength and overall performance.

The class of this wire rope is 6×19. These numbers nominally refer to the rope construction, indicating six outer strands and an estimated 15-26 wires within each strand. The actual construction supplied is 6×26, which provides a durable combination of flexibility and abrasion resistance.

Will my wire rope arrive as one continuous length?
Yes. The quantity you order will be supplied as one continuous, uncut length of wire rope. For example, if you order a quantity of 1,000, you will receive a single 1,000-foot length.

Can I order multiple separate lengths?
Yes. To receive multiple lengths, add each length to your cart as a separate line item. For example, if you need two 1,500-foot lengths, enter a quantity of 1,500 and add it to your cart twice. Each line item will be cut and supplied as a separate length.

Can I order lengths shorter than the minimum order quantity if the combined total exceeds the minimum?
Yes. If your combined order will exceed the minimum quantity requirement but you need shorter individual lengths, please call our team to place your order. One of our product experts will be happy to assist.
