The Simpson Strong-Tie CBSQ44-SDS2HDG Column Bases – Hot Dipped Galvanized enhances the strength and stability of your construction projects. Crafted from durable heavy-gauge steel, this column base is designed to connect columns or posts to concrete foundations and distribute the structure’s stresses to the foundation.

These connectors are cast-in-place or wet-set in concrete and feautre a 1″ standoff to meet code requirements for structural posts installed in basements or outdoors.

This product is intended for use with 4×4 posts or columns but is also available in a wide range of other sizes and both nominal and rough-cut lumber.
