Manufactured to RR-C-271D, Type IV B, Class 2 Federal Specifications, these chain shackles are ideal for straight-line tensioning in marine, industrial, or outdoor applications.

These shackles are sized based on the diameter of the bow (not the pin) and feature a straight-sided D-shape optimized for inline loads. Their compact form allows for a direct load path, reducing the potential for sling rotation or misalignment-especially important in chain-to-hardware connections.
