This 1″ thumb ratchet is constructed from Type 304 stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance for marine, coastal, or high-moisture environments. Its compact design fits tight spaces where full-size ratchets wont, and allows for one-handed tightening.

Type 304 stainless steel forms a passive chromium-rich layer that resists rust and naturally self-repairs if scratched extending the life of the ratchet even in harsh conditions. Designed for 1″ webbing and rated at a 1,500 lb break strength, its ideal for lightweight securement with superior environmental protection.

Ratchet Use Guidelines

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): “When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation.”
