Domestic 3/8″ x 25′ Grade 70 Tie Down Chain

Grade 70 chainalso known as transport chainis the most popular choice for tie down applications. With 20% more strength than Grade 43, it offers greater durability for stabilizing large loads and is well-suited for most cargo securement jobs where chain is required.

Made in the USA Transport Chain Construction

Built from high-strength carbon steel, this chain is heat-treated and strength-tested for consistent performance. The yellow zinc chromate finish provides corrosion resistance, conforms to ASTM B633 Type II standards, and makes the chain easy to identify as Grade 70.

The forged carbon steel clevis hooks feature a non-cradle design that fits through flatbed trailer rub rails for fast and secure connections. A shallow throat allows quick attachment to chain, while the cotter pin makes replacing damaged hooks simple and efficient.

Note: Grade 70 chain is not approved for overhead lifting.

G70 Truck Tie Down Chain Industry Compliance

This chain is DOT compliant and meets or exceeds FMCSA CFR49 Section 393.104 and NACM Welded Steel Chain Specifications. Hooks are embossed with size and grade, and chain links are grade-marked for easy identification and stress-free inspections.
