This improved contact zone prevents bunching, maximizes lifting efficiency by at least 15%, and helps maintain 100% of the slings rated Working Load Limit.

Forged from high-strength alloy steel, this shackle maintains the same pin dimensions and ear spread as conventional Crosby shackles, ensuring compatibility across your rigging hardware. The screw pin closure allows for easy connection and disconnection-ideal for temporary or changeable lifting setups.

This size is designed for use with Type 3, Class 7, 2-ply web slings. For 3″ webbing widths, a tapered eye is required to ensure proper fit and performance. Each unit is stamped with the Crosby name, working load limit, and PIC code, and is proof tested to 2x the WLL for lifting confidence.
