4″ x 3.75′ Blackline Heavy Duty Tie Down Strap with Chain Extension

These 4″ Blackline heavy-duty ratchet straps are built to handle the toughest cargo securement jobs. Made from industrial-strength polyester webbing with a break strength of 24,000 lbs. and a working load limit of 6,670 lbs., they are 23.5% stronger than standard 4″ straps. The webbing also features superior abrasion resistance with a reinforced edge made from concentrated webbing to slow down wear. (Edge protection is still recommended.)

Both the ratchet assembly and the chain extension are zinc-plated for added durability and corrosion resistance.

Why Choose 3/8″ Chain Extension End Hardware?

Chain extensions combine the strength of Grade 70 transport chain with the flexibility of polyester webbing. They allow you to tie down loads using rub rails or stake pockets without damaging the webbing. The extended 34″ chain makes it easier to wrap around stake pockets and provides a stronger, more secure hold. Each extension includes a 3″ D-ring, a 30″ chain, and a clevis grab hook for quick, reliable connections.

All of US Cargo Control’s ratchet straps are tagged and stenciled with the working load limit to meet FMCSA and DOT regulations, CVSA and WSTDA guidelines, and North American Cargo Securement standards.

Learn more about proper load handling and securement in the WSTDA safety bulletins.

Ratchet Use Guidelines

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): “When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation.”
