This 1/2″ 8×19 spin-resistant wire rope is designed to reduce rope rotation and load spin during lifting operations. Manufactured from Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS), this Category 3 rotation-resistant wire rope is well-suited for hoisting unguided loads with single-part or multi-part line systems where controlled load handling and dependable durability are required.

Engineered with inner strands laid in the opposite direction of the outer strands, this 8×19 wire rope helps counteract rotational forces that develop while under load. The actual 8×25 construction provides excellent flexibility and durability, making it more resistant to wear than many higher-category rotation-resistant ropes. The bright steel finish is lubricated with an A-1 petroleum-based coating that helps reduce internal friction and provides basic moisture resistance, while the Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) enhances strength, support, and crushing resistance.

Will my wire rope arrive as one continuous length?
Yes. The quantity you order will be supplied as one continuous, uncut length of wire rope. For example, if you order a quantity of 1,000, you will receive a single 1,000-foot length.

Can I order multiple separate lengths?
Yes. To receive multiple lengths, add each length to your cart as a separate line item. For example, if you need two 1,500-foot lengths, enter a quantity of 1,500 and add it to your cart twice. Each line item will be cut and supplied as a separate length.

Can I order lengths shorter than the minimum order quantity if the combined total exceeds the minimum?
Yes. If your combined order will exceed the minimum quantity requirement but you need shorter individual lengths, please call our team to place your order. One of our product experts will be happy to assist.
