The 1″ 45 bent weld-on D-ring offers maximum tie-down flexibility for equipment trailers, flatbeds, and heavy-haul vehicles. With a 46,750 lb break strength and angled design, it allows the D-ring to rise higher than flat modelsperfect for trailers with rail systems that restrict vertical movement.
Bent D-rings are ideal for use on trailers with side rails or obstructions that prevent full vertical movement. The angled design improves attachment angles for better chain alignment and reduces load stressespecially when anchoring heavier equipment.
Match your D-rings strength rating to the cargo you haul. According to FMCSA CFR49 Sections 393.102104, anchor points must meet or exceed the strength of the tie-downs used. Always confirm compatibility with tie-down hooks and chains before installation.
To achieve full rated capacity, this D-ring must be welded by a qualified welder. Apply an anti-corrosion finish after installation to extend the lifespan of the anchor point.
Note: Not rated for overhead lifting.
Warning: Tie Down Hardware
Read and follow all provided instructions, guidelines, and maintenance recommendations before use.
Never exceed the maximum load capacity.
Inspect before each use for signs of deformation, corrosion, and wear, such as cuts or fraying on tie down straps or ropes. If damaged, discard and replace.
When installing, make sure that the tie down hardware is securely attached to a stable surface using appropriate hardware. For complex installations or applications requiring structural integrity, work with a qualified professional to ensure safety.
Only use tie down hardware that is appropriately-rated for the weight and size of your load.
Be careful when handling tie down hardware to prevent strains or injuries. For heavy or awkward loads, seek assistance.
Protect tie downs from potential hazards, such as sharp edges or abrasive surfaces that may damage tie down straps or ropes.
Store in a dry, clean, and dark location with regulated temperatures to extend product longevity.
Keep children and pets away from tie down hardware while being installed / in use.
