This E-track ratchet strap offers enhanced adjustability with a second E-fitting located just a few inches from the ratchet. This added connection point allows more flexibility in strap placementespecially helpful when transporting variable-sized loads in industries like millwork, cabinetry, and custom fabrication.

Constructed with heavy-duty polyester webbing, the strap is designed for long-lasting use in demanding environments. It features a higher yarn density and tighter weave than standard straps, with heat-sealed ends to prevent fraying. All hardwareincluding the ratchet and E-fittingsis zinc-coated for corrosion resistance.

A captivated loose end keeps the strap securely threaded through the ratchet, reducing setup time and eliminating the need to rethread during use. Straps are color-coded by length for easy identification: yellow (12′), gray (16′), and blue (20′).

The ratchet mechanism delivers maximum tension and holding power, making it well-suited for heavier cargo that requires a secure, rigid hold. For delicate or finished materials, consider the cam buckle version of this strap to prevent overtightening.

Each strap is tagged and stenciled with its working load limit and meets FMCSA and DOT regulations, CVSA and WSTDA guidelines, and North American Cargo Securement standards.

E-Track Cargo Strap Design Factor

According to the WSTDA, design factor is the “ratio of the breaking strength to the working load limit” and should be 3:1 for these E-track tie down Cargo Straps. This builds in a level of redundancy to account for unknown factors, keeping you, your crew, and those around you safe.

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): “When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation.”
