Made in the USA from Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS), this 3/4″ galvanized wire rope features a durable 6×26 construction and an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) for superior strength, abrasion resistance, and load stability. Designed for demanding outdoor lifting, hoisting, winching, and rigging applications, it provides dependable performance in environments where corrosion resistance is critical.

Colored strands may appear in some domestic wire ropes for manufacturer identification or visibility purposes; these color variations do not affect assembly break strength.

The 6×19 class construction is well known for its ability to withstand surface wear while maintaining moderate flexibility, making it ideal for use with sheaves, drums, and other high-contact applications. The hot-dip drawn galvanized finish provides long-lasting corrosion protection without reducing rope strength, making it an excellent choice for outdoor and moisture-prone environments. Combined with an IWRC core for added crushing resistance and structural support, this wire rope is built to perform in demanding industrial applications.

6×19 Wire Rope Configuration

Our wire rope is made using EIPS-grade cable. EIPS (Extra Improved Plow Steel) refers to the strength of the wire rope, offering approximately 10% greater tensile strength than IPS-grade wire rope and improving overall break strength.

The class of this wire rope is 6×19. These numbers nominally refer to the construction of the wire rope: the number of outer strands around the core and an estimation of the number of wires within each strand. For a 6×19 class wire rope, there are 6 outer strands and approximately 15-26 wires per strand. The actual construction of this domestic rope is 6×26.

Yes. The quantity you order will be supplied as one continuous, uncut length of wire rope. For example, if you order a quantity of 1,000, you will receive a single 1,000-foot length.

Can I order multiple separate lengths?
Yes. To receive multiple lengths, add each length to your cart as a separate line item. For example, if you need two 1,500-foot lengths, enter a quantity of 1,500 and add it to your cart twice. Each line item will be cut and supplied as a separate length.

Can I order lengths shorter than the minimum order quantity if the combined total exceeds the minimum?
Yes. If your combined order will exceed the minimum quantity requirement but you need shorter individual lengths, please call our team to place your order. One of our product experts will be happy to assist.
