Made in the USA from Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS), this 3/4″ bright wire rope features a 6×36 construction engineered for superior flexibility and fatigue resistance. Combined with an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC), it delivers exceptional load stability and crush resistance, making it an excellent choice for demanding hoisting, winching, suspension, and structural rigging applications.

Colored strands may appear in some domestic wire ropes for manufacturer identification or visibility purposes; these color variations do not affect assembly break strength.

The 6×37 class construction is designed for applications that involve frequent bending and movement. Compared to 6×19 wire rope, it provides greater flexibility and improved fatigue resistance, helping extend service life in high-cycle operations. The bright steel finish is treated with a petroleum-based lubricant that reduces internal friction, minimizes wear, and provides basic protection against moisture and corrosion. Built to meet RR-W-410 and ASTM A1023 requirements, this rope delivers dependable performance in demanding industrial environments.

6×37 Wire Rope Configuration

Our wire rope is made using EIPS-grade cable. EIPS (Extra Improved Plow Steel) refers to the strength of the wire rope, offering approximately 10% greater tensile strength than IPS-grade wire rope and improving overall break strength.

The class of this wire rope is 6×37. These numbers nominally refer to the construction of the wire rope: the number of outer strands surrounding the core and an estimation of the number of wires within each strand. For a 6×37 class rope, there are 6 outer strands with approximately 27-49 wires per strand. The actual construction supplied is 6×36.

Will my wire rope arrive as one continuous length?
Yes. The quantity you order will be supplied as one continuous, uncut length of wire rope. For example, if you order a quantity of 1,000, you will receive a single 1,000-foot length.

Can I order multiple separate lengths?
Yes. To receive multiple lengths, add each length to your cart as a separate line item. For example, if you need two 1,500-foot lengths, enter a quantity of 1,500 and add it to your cart twice. Each line item will be cut and supplied as a separate length.

Can I order lengths shorter than the minimum order quantity if the combined total exceeds the minimum?
Yes. If your combined order will exceed the minimum quantity requirement but you need shorter individual lengths, please call our team to place your order. One of our product experts will be happy to assist.
