Made in the USA from high-strength Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS), this 5/16″ bright wire rope delivers dependable performance for lifting, rigging, and winching applications. Built in the 6×19 class with an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC), it offers an excellent balance of abrasion resistance, strength, and flexibility for demanding industrial environments.

Colored strands may appear in some domestic wire ropes for manufacturer identification or visibility purposes. These color variations do not affect assembly break strength or overall performance.

Its bright steel finish is lubricated with a petroleum-based compound that helps reduce internal friction while providing basic moisture protection. 6×19 Wire Rope Configuration

Our wire rope is manufactured using EIPS-grade cable. EIPS (Extra Improved Plow Steel) provides approximately 10% greater tensile strength than standard IPS-grade wire rope, resulting in improved break strength and longer service life under demanding conditions.

The class of this wire rope is 6×19. These numbers nominally refer to the rope construction, indicating six outer strands with approximately 15-26 wires within each strand. The actual construction supplied is 6×26, providing an ideal balance of abrasion resistance and flexibility.

Will my wire rope arrive as one continuous length?
Yes. The quantity you order will be supplied as one continuous, uncut length of wire rope. For example, if you order a quantity of 1,000, you will receive a single 1,000-foot length.

Can I order multiple separate lengths?
Yes. To receive multiple lengths, add each length to your cart as a separate line item. For example, if you need two 1,500-foot lengths, enter a quantity of 1,500 and add it to your cart twice. Each line item will be cut and supplied as a separate length.

Can I order lengths shorter than the minimum order quantity if the combined total exceeds the minimum?
Yes. If your combined order will exceed the minimum quantity requirement but you need shorter individual lengths, please call our team to place your order. One of our product experts will be happy to assist.
