This 7/16″ Type 304 stainless steel wire rope features a versatile 6×19 class construction, making it an excellent choice for general-purpose lifting, rigging, suspension, and winching applications. Combining good flexibility with strong abrasion resistance, it performs well in environments where both durability and corrosion protection are important.
Type 304 stainless steel offers greater corrosion resistance than galvanized wire rope while providing higher strength and a more economical price point than Type 316 stainless steel. This makes it a popular choice for construction, industrial, architectural, and outdoor applications where reliable rust protection is required.
The 6×19 construction delivers enhanced abrasion resistance compared to a 6×37 wire rope, making it ideal for applications involving regular contact with drums, sheaves, and other wear surfaces. While slightly less flexible than a 6×37 construction, it provides excellent durability and service life in demanding environments.
This wire rope is manufactured from Type 304 stainless steel, offering an excellent combination of strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance. It is well-suited for applications exposed to weather, moisture, and other corrosive conditions where standard carbon steel wire rope may not be appropriate.
The class of this wire rope is 6×19. These numbers nominally refer to the rope construction, consisting of six outer strands surrounding the core, with approximately 15-26 wires making up each strand. Yes. The quantity you order will be supplied as one continuous, uncut length of wire rope. For example, if you order a quantity of 1,000, you will receive a single 1,000-foot length.
Can I order multiple separate lengths?
Yes. To receive multiple lengths, add each length to your cart as a separate line item. For example, if you need two 1,500-foot lengths, enter a quantity of 1,500 and add it to your cart twice. Each line item will be cut and supplied as a separate length.
