2″ x 30′ Ratchet Strap with 5/16″ Chain Extensions

These 2″ ratchet straps are built for strength and long-lasting performance. Made from premium polyester webbing with a break strength of 13,000 lbs.stronger than the 12,000 lbs found in most standard 2″ strapsthey provide superior abrasion resistance and durability for heavy-duty securement.

5/16″ Chain Extension Hardware

Chain extensions combine the strength of Grade 70 transport chain with the flexibility of polyester webbing. They allow you to use rub rails or stake pockets without damaging the webbing. The extended 18″ chain length makes wrapping around stake pockets easier and provides a more secure hold. Each extension includes a 2″ D-ring, a 14-1/2″ chain, and a clevis grab hook for quick, secure connections. Zinc coating adds corrosion resistance for long-term use.

All of US Cargo Control’s ratchet straps are tagged and stenciled with the working load limit to meet FMCSA and DOT regulations, CVSA and WSTDA guidelines, and North American Cargo Securement standards.

Ratchet Use Guidelines

According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): “When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation.”
