EcoFoil Double Bubble Foil Insulation is engineered for spaces that experience wide temperature swings, including pole barns, metal buildings, basement walls, crawl spaces, and storage units. The two-layer bubble core creates an effective air gap that slows heat transfer and helps prevent frost and condensation caused by warm and cold surfaces meeting. At roughly 1/4″ thick, this lightweight insulation installs quickly with simple tools. The white/foil option provides the same thermal performance as foil/foil but features a clean white facing for a more finished interior appearance.

Radiant Heat Reflection & Vapor Barrier Protection

This insulation reflects up to 94% of radiant heat, helping maintain more stable temperatures year-round. When all seams are taped, it also functions as a vapor barrier by blocking air and moisture movementreducing the risk of mold and moisture-related damage. Proper taping is essential to ensure the insulation performs as one continuous layer.

Double Bubble Insulation for Barns, Metal Buildings & Utility Spaces

Unlike fiberglass or spray foam, which absorb and hold heat, radiant barrier insulation reflects heat back toward its source. When used together with traditional insulation, the system can significantly improve both winter and summer performance. Radiant barriers are measured by reflectivity and emissivity rather than R-value, and when installed with an air gap, Double Bubble Insulation effectively reflects heat away in summer and retains warmth in winter.
