DuraDrive C54 3/4 in. x 1/2 in. x 12 ft. 18-Gauge Metal Stiffener Channel is a bridge-like system that bridges through studs to keep from movement, bend or rotation. The stiffener channel activities a locking system offered with stud designs; the stiffener channel is placed through a stud in one direction, then turned which locks it in place and joins the studs. This securing method is followed by clips and screws to reinforce proper installation.
