Septarian spheres started out millions of years ago as balls of mud from ancient oceans, forming calcite, aragonite and limestone in a 7-point cracking pattern unique to this stone. The lid is made of Acacia wood and includes a silicone seal that is designed to fit regular mason jars, but can be used on any like-sized container. The mounting hardware has a satin nickel finish.
