Novia Ultraviolet Lap Tape (UVLT) is a sealing and bonding tape which has a highstrength acrylic dispersion adhesive, has an elastic LDPE-film carrier and is reinforcedwith scrim. Novia UVLT is particularly suited for use in open facade UV breathermembrane applications in walls as it has a high UV resistance. Novia UVLT has24 months UV stability in open rainscreen applications with maximum joint widths upto 30mm, where 40% of the total area of the membrane is exposed.

However, it is also suitable for overlaps and joints, on breather membranes within standard roof applications, where additional protective UV resistance is desired. Novia UVLT is used to seal membrane overlaps which will protect against external environmental conditions and improve airtightness.
