The 1″ Stainless Steel Bolt-On D-Ring is purpose-built for marine environments and light-duty tie-down needs. Made from 316 stainless steel, it delivers excellent corrosion resistance, making it ideal for trailers, docks, and coastal use. With an 800 lb break strength, its perfect for securing motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and gear where exposure to saltwater is common.
Select your D-ring based on mounting method, tie-down system, and environment. Stainless steel is the preferred material for marine use, while galvanized steel suffices in general outdoor environments. Per FMCSA CFR49 Sections 393.102104, anchor points must be rated to meet or exceed the strength of the tie-down system.
This D-ring should be bolted through the mounting surface to achieve maximum strength. Check the bolt hole size for compatibility, and use fender washers and locking nuts or threadlocker to secure it in place. Mounting hardware not included.
Note: Not rated for overhead lifting. Break strength assumes proper installation.
Warning: Tie Down Hardware
Read and follow all provided instructions, guidelines, and maintenance recommendations before use.
Never exceed the maximum load capacity.
Inspect before each use for signs of deformation, corrosion, and wear, such as cuts or fraying on tie down straps or ropes. If damaged, discard and replace.
When installing, make sure that the tie down hardware is securely attached to a stable surface using appropriate hardware. For complex installations or applications requiring structural integrity, work with a qualified professional to ensure safety.
Only use tie down hardware that is appropriately-rated for the weight and size of your load.
Be careful when handling tie down hardware to prevent strains or injuries. For heavy or awkward loads, seek assistance.
Protect tie downs from potential hazards, such as sharp edges or abrasive surfaces that may damage tie down straps or ropes.
Store in a dry, clean, and dark location with regulated temperatures to extend product longevity.
